Support the JMMF Farmer’s Market

JMMF’s Farm to Fork program has hosted 3 successful farmers’ market events this month! Johnson Family Farms of Jefferson Davis County and RDS Farms of Rankin County teamed up with the JMMF to sell fresh produce and to promote the program’s overall goal: to increase healthy food access in the community and surrounding areas.

The market takes place each Wednesday and Friday at 10:00 am and will remain open while supplies last. The garden has a variety of quality spring and summer produce that is typically priced lower than the market price.

• Squash, cucumber, and zucchini are $1.50 per pound,
• Blueberries are $3 per pound, and
• Okra is $2 per pound.

Prices, times, and stock vary and are subject to change.

If you are a local farmer or vendor who’d like to participate in the next farmer’s market, contact Otis Wright, Farm Manager, via email at [email protected].
