A new chapter has officially begun for the Rotary Club of Jackson Medical Mall! On July 1st, members, partners, and community leaders gathered for our annual Changing of the Guard and Installation Ceremony—a time-honored tradition celebrating where we’ve been and where we are headed.

The highlight of the evening was a powerful leadership transition, marking the conclusion of an incredible era and the exciting beginning of another.

Honoring Two Years of Impact: Thank You, President Erica Reed

The ceremony marked the official conclusion of Erica Reed’s term as club president (2024-2026). Over the last two years, President Reed led the club with vision, grace, and an unwavering commitment to “Service Above Self.”

Under her stellar leadership, the Rotary Club of Jackson Medical Mall reached new heights by focusing on:

• Deepening Community Partnerships: Collaborating with local organizations to amplify our reach.
• Impactful Service Projects: Launching initiatives directly aimed at making Jackson a better place to live, work, and thrive.
• Member Engagement: Re-energizing our members and fostering a true sense of fellowship.

The club extends its deepest gratitude to President Reed, our dedicated Board of Directors, and every supporter who poured their time and energy into fulfilling our mission over the last two years. We couldn’t have done it without you!

Welcoming Our 2026-2027 President: Steven Tharpe

As one door closes, another opens. The club proudly installed Steven Tharpe as our new president for the 2026-2027 Rotary year!

As President Tharpe accepted the gavel, the room was filled with overwhelming optimism. The upcoming year promises a renewed focus on the core pillars of Rotary: service, fellowship, membership growth, and sustainable community impact. We are thrilled to see where his leadership and vision will take us next.
