The W.K. Kellogg Foundation provides a number of grants to organizations across the country on a number of topics. It is the 7th largest philanthropic foundation in the U.S. The Kellogg Foundation has awarded the Jackson Medical Mall Foundation with more than $4 million dollars for current work that will:

• Reduce childhood obesity and build self-esteem and character in youth and their families through support of physical activity and life skills training programs;
• Improve the well-being and economic status of vulnerable parenting youth;
• Attain health equity for vulnerable populations in Jackson, Mississippi, by addressing the social and institutional factors which undermine people’s ability to practice healthy behaviors and attain wellness.
