Jackson Medical Mall Foundation Joins Community Partners to provide COVID Vaccines on April 15th.

The Jackson Medical Mall Foundation (JMMF) is collaborating with the City of Jackson, MS Department of Transportation (MDOT), Walmart, MS Urban League, and community partner, Mechelle Green, to provide free COVID vaccinations on Thursday, April 15, 2021. The event will take place from 9:00 am – 3:30 pm at the MS Urban League building (located at the Livingston Rd. entrance of the Jackson Medical Mall).  

Vaccine Day will provide seniors, citizens with disabilities, JMMF employees and tenants, and the surrounding community the opportunity to be vaccinated. Vaccines will be provided and administered by Walmart. Transportation services will be available for those who need a ride to the vaccination location.

“The Jackson Medical Mall is excited about hosting this important event with our partners to provide COVID vaccine access to the community,” says JMMF’s Chief Operating Officer, Carmen Davis. “Our goal is to make healthcare accessible to all. Our transportation services program has recently expanded its services to provide the community free transportation to vaccination appointments,” says Davis.

Preregistration is strongly encouraged to receive a vaccination. Walk-ins will be accepted while supplies last. For preregistration, call 833-886-0023 (option 4).  Patients should refer to the clinic as “City of Jackson-MDOT”.
